Kicked off the morning in Colby with many other chasers.  Took our time in the morning getting ready to head out from one of my favorite places in Tornado Alley.

We eventually poked north after most of us digested fried chicken from the Truck Stop and most of us ended up in extreme southwest Nebraska on storms that tried (not very hard) to get going.

A scenic shot of The Storm Tracer with an abandoned building and wind mill; this was the most photogenic scene of the day.
One of the Bob’s Roads we ventured on.
Oh yeah, we did chase a storm; here’s the grungy monster in Southern Nebraska.
Oops! Fortunately all we got from this Nebraska Trooper was a verbal warning.

We looped back into Colby, getting in just after 10pm ahead of some storms that stayed just south of Colby, but the winds were pretty wicked through the evening.
