Weather Event Journals
Before there were formal chase logs, mileage totals and storm reports, there was simply a weather-obsessed kid documenting what he saw. These journals preserve stories from those early years, from neighborhood floods and Colorado lightning to informal chases and other memorable encounters with the atmosphere.
Drawn from original website pages, personal journals, photographs and surviving notes, they document the years when a fascination with weather was becoming a lifelong pursuit.
